Mia Blume is a design leadership coach living in San Francisco, California. A former design leader at Pinterest, Square, and IDEO, Mia founded Design Dept. to transform the way creative leaders work. Through individual coaching, workshops, and customized learning and development programs, Design Dept.’s guided experiences foster resilient, creative leadership. In 2017, Mia founded Within — a series of leadership retreats for women in design.

Andy Budd

Andy Budd is a well-known agency founder and design leader who has helped companies like Virgin Holidays, John Lewis and Penguin Random House with issues of customer experience, product strategy, and digital transformation. Andy co-founded Clearleft where he continues to set strategy and vision, promote the value of design, and help clients realize their digital potential. In his early career he helped pioneer the field of Web Standards through his work, his blog, and the publication of his best selling book - CSS Mastery.

Jasmine Friedl

Jasmine Friedl is the Director of Design at Intercom, and previously led design at Udacity, Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and Facebook. She’s also co-founded Shape — an initiative to help designers kick off their careers in product design—with her husband Tanner Christensen. In her free time you can find her recording the Shape New Layer podcast or watching too much Netflix with her husband and two french bulldogs: Bacon and Meatloaf.

She previous worked as a product content strategist at Facebook, and before that worked in communications roles mostly in arts organizations.
